Shingle Roof Replacement - Waterbury, Vermont

We recently completed a shingle roof replacement over the Prohibition Pig Brewery, one of Waterbury’s most recognized establishments. The project involved removing the aging roof system and upgrading it with a high-performance Owens Corning Duration shingles, built to withstand Vermont’s demanding weather while maintaining the building’s classic downtown appearance. We also reframed a fair amount of the roof to ensure a completely flat surface.

Our team removed the old roofing system, installed full ice & water shield protection, synthetic underlayment, and new flashing where needed to ensure proper waterproofing and performance through Vermont’s harsh winters.

The finished roof came out excellent — a sharp, professional result that enhances both the appearance and resilience of one of Waterbury’s most popular establishments.

Another successful commercial roofing project completed by the Rivers Construction team.
